Active Therapies started The Dizzy Clinic in 2017. Our Osteopath, Andrew Forbes, has done specific training in the diagnosis and treatment of Vertigo, Dizziness, and Concussion.
Andrew is available at our Bowral rooms Monday to Friday.

Active Therapies treats Vertigo and Dizziness
Patients suffering from Vertigo or Dizziness will be asked to complete a four-page questionnaire regarding their relevant Medical History. They will then be assessed by Andrew to establish whether their Vertigo can be managed conservatively, or should be referred to a specialist ENT medical practitioner.
In many cases, Vertigo can be treated conservatively, or managed to minimise symptoms.
Some patients like to bring a support person with them, as the assessment of the Vertigo usually involves provoking the symptoms of Dizziness, and the patient may not feel up to driving immediately after the consultation.
Active Therapies treats Concussion
Patients suffering from concussion require specialist assessment and treatment. Concussion is a form of mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) and while the brain is recovering from its effects it is very important that activity levels are adjusted appropriately to avoid exacerbating both the short and long term effects.
Andrew Forbes has completed the Complete Concussions training course and Active Therapies is acknowledged as an official Complete Concussions clinic.
